  1. How do you book your ground shuttle?
    The best way to book a service is by calling our office or making an online reservation via our website. You can call us at 619.232.5040


  2. What is a shared or exclusive ride?
    If you book a ground shuttle, you have 2 options which are shared or exclusive. The shared ride means you will be on a shuttle with parties other than your own. An exclusive ride means your party will be the only one onboard the shuttle.


  3. How does the shared ride work in San DIego Airport or other San Diego locations?
    The shared ride departs from the San Diego Airport every hour on the hour from each terminal. You will meet the shuttle outside on the curbside. You will be provided with a phone number to contact your ride when you are ready to be picked up. This is the same for hotel or other pickups throughout San Diego.


  4. How does the exclusive ride work at the San Diego Airport?
    For an exclusive ride, we will give you a phone number to call when you are ready to be picked up at the airport. When you call, your ride will be waiting outside of the airport to transport you to your destination. We guarantee that we will be there no more than 10 minutes after you have called us.


  5. Do all services require advance reservations?
    All services must be reserved in advance and require a written confirmation from Five Star Tours. You must provide your confirmation to the driver for your ride to be included.


  6. How can I pay for a shuttle?
    All shuttles must be prepaid on a credit card or check. We accept all major credit cards such as VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. However, the gratuities are never included in your rate which are recommended at 10% of your shuttle rate.


  7. What does the vehicle say so that we can look for it?
    We have an extensive fleet therefore the Five Star Tours logo may vary depending on the vehicle. Your dispatcher will advise what to look for.
