  1. How can I book a charter with Five Star Tours?
    You can fill out our online form by going to the link on the bottom of each charter sub-page or by selecting the "Book A Bus" sub-page. You can also call our office at 619.232.5040

  2. What forms of payment does Five Star Tours accept ?
    We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover credit cards but other cards or forms of payment can be discussed. We may ask for a deposit on your tour confirmation or full payment depending on tour factors such as dates, times and/or destinations. A deposit guarantees your space. Most deposits are refundable, call us for details 619.232.5040

  3. What is your cancellation policy?
    If you cancel more than 1 week in advance we will not charge any cancellation fees. If you decide to cancel within 1 week, the charge is $ 125.00. If you cancel within 72 hours of charter, there is a fee of $ 250.00. We offer no refunds on cancellations made within 24hrs.

  4. Do our buses have a restroom?
    Our 50 passenger motor coach, which is the vehicle most widely used on our tours, comes equipped with a restroom. Our 30 passenger mini-bus, the 18 passenger mini-bus with wheelchair lift and our 12 passenger van do not have restrooms.

  5. Do we operate rain or shine? Do we have assigned seating?
    Five Star Tours will operate a tour rain or shine! We do not have assigned seating. We strongly encourage families to participate in our tours. Service animals are always welcome.

  6. What is the average gratuity/ tip for drivers?
    The gratuity/tip is usually 10% of the total cost of your charter rate. We do not add gratuity to any of our rates unless you request to add this fee to the overall charter contract.

  7. What is included in your charter rate/ price?
    The charter rate includes transportation, exclusive use of the motor coach for your service, fuel and other amenities within our motor coach.

  8. When is payment due?
    Payment is due 7 days before your trip date on a major credit card, cashier's check, company check or cash. We do not accept personal checks.

  9. Are tolls, parking and other fees included in your rate?
    Our rates do not include any tolls, parking or fees not associated in your contract. Any extra fees will be outlined in your contract. Please make sure to communicate with your sales representive if you have a questions about additional fees.
